The PTA is planning a new opportunity for additional school safety and community building. Gayton Guardians is an initiative to include more parents (especially fathers, father figures, AND/OR MOMS) to volunteer at school for safety purposes and to participate in fun events with their children.

Safety opportunities may include:

• Assistance with recess supervision
• Assistance in the cafeteria
• Assistance with metal detectors when they are installed
• Assistance at PTA events and meetings

Community building opportunities with your children may include:

• Bingo nights
• Bowling
• Minigolf
• Kickball tournament
• Ice skating
