Slate of Nominees for 2025-2027 Term:
(to be voted on during May 20 General PTA Meeting)

Margaret Francisco - VP of Ways and Means

I have a daughter (Scarlett) in 2nd grade and a son (Wells) in kindergarten at Gayton. I started volunteering at Gayton doing lunch duty and being on the silent auction committee when my oldest was in kindergarten. I have been a room parent the past 2 years and co-chaired parents night out as well as the gator gala. I enjoy being able to help out our Gayton community.

Kelsey Jessee - VP of Communications (2nd Term)

I'm thrilled to be serving a second term as the Gayton PTA VP of Communications! Before stepping into this role, I was a room parent and the Spirit Wear Committee Chair. My husband, Taylor, and I have three boys—two Gayton Gators, Graham (rising 4th grader) and Pierson (rising 1st grader), and our youngest, Britton, who’s a future Gator in the making!

Professionally, I bring years of experience in the public school system as both a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant and an Office Manager/Substitute Coordinator. These roles gave me valuable perspective on how to best support students, staff, and families. I’m excited to continue bringing that insight to the PTA executive board and help strengthen our incredible school community!

Lindsay Rayfield - Secretary

I have been involved with the Gayton PTA for 7 years now. I've served as room parent, kindergarten copier, cafeteria helper, volunteer coordinator, room parent coordinator, and garden liaison. I have a 6th grader at Pocahontas, a 4th grader, and a kindergartener. My past professional experience includes record keeping and meeting planning for a trade association and drafting correspondence on Capitol Hill, and I look forward to applying these skills to the position of Secretary.

Rebecca Wooten - Treasurer

My name is Rebecca Wooten. We have been a Gayton family for the past seven years. My youngest son, Jackson, is wrapping up 3rd grade. My oldest son, Will, is completing his first year at Pocahontas.

Before I left work to stay home, I worked in the marketing field for 15 years. During that time, I also volunteered in various administrative and communication roles, and I planned events. While raising our boys, I coordinated a mom’s event and played active roles in their activities.

As a Gayton parent, I have been a room parent, chaired the yearbook and book fairs, volunteered in the library and the cafeteria, and I’m wrapping up my 2-year term as PTA Secretary. I’m excited for the opportunity to continue to be part of the future of Gayton these next two years.
